15-Days Swachhotsav, 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 Campaign Begins, Inaugural event held at pictureque Gulmarg

 


Swachhotsav – Swachhata Hi Seva 2025
The 15-day cleanliness campaign was officially launched on Sep 17 at the picturesque Gulmarg. The inaugural event featured a series of vibrant competitions, including Kite Flying (Swachhata Udaan), Rangoli (Swachhata Rang Otsav), and a Golf Competition (Swachhata Swing).

A special rally, titled “Naqsh-e-Swachhata,” was flagged off by the Hon’ble Minister for Rural Development, Shri Javed Ahmad Dar. The rally, accompanied by a tableau and a fleet of 50 hopper vehicles, traversed through various blocks of Baramulla, Budgam, and Srinagar districts in the Kashmir division, spreading the message of cleanliness and community participation.

Meanwhile, across the Union Territory, diverse activities under the campaign were conducted in all 285 blocks of Jammu & Kashmir, making the launch a truly participatory and inclusive effort.
